Swiss patent attorneys are registered at the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property. They are subject to the code of professional conduct defined in the Federal act on Patent Attorneys. Italian patent attorneys are registered at the "Officio Italiano Brevetti e Marchi" and are members of the "Ordine dei consulenti in proprietà industrial". They are subject to its code of professional conduct.
